Thanks to all who joined the LCR Happy Hour at Tickles on Sept 2. Now its time to get down to a bit of business.
Our September meeting will be held On Thursday, September 17th at the Wilde Roast Cafe (518 Hennepin Ave E, Mpls) starting promptly at 6:30pm. We are pleased that the Republican-endorsed candidate for Mayor of Minneapolis, “Papa” John Kolstad, will be joining us.
John has been a Minneapolis resident, business owner and community leader for over 30 years and a musician and recording artist for 40 years.
Come learn about and ask John questions on his vision for a smaller, more transparent city government and his plans to bring economic opportunity and prosperity back to Minneapolis. He has stated some of his priorities to achieve his vision:
• Restore transparency and accountability to city government
• Control government spending and eliminate wasteful and unnecessary programs
• Remove barriers to small business formation and success
• Stop the ruinous property tax increases
• Eliminate the bureaucratic and short-sighted city planning department
